Great to hear to the review of advanced clotting agents. However it may be good to correct some parts of it. Celox has been sold in the USA since June 06. It has been sold in Europe since Nov 07 (when it obtained a class 3 CE mark) It has a good growth in % market share. The US marines published a head to head study in Jan 08. Its shows 100% survival for Celox only. A copy of the abstract is available on the web site. Www.celoxmedical.com.
There are new products available in late March 08. Again see the web site.

Thank you for acknowleging Z-Medica Corp as the manufacturer of an advanced bloodclotting product. The product is QuikClot brand hemostatic agent. We appreciate the opportunity to correct an error in the article. It is QuikClot from Z-Medica that was tested by the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps and achieved a 100% survival rate. In addition, QuikClot products are deployed with all branches of the U.S. military and credited with saving scores of life in Iraq and Afghanistan since 2002. Now newer generation QuikClot brand products are being used by first responders to save lives in the U.S. There are two new consumer products, one antimicrobial. QuikClot brand products are in use in 36 countries around the globe. More information is available at www.z-medica.com.
